Sara's senior pictures {Syracuse, NY yearbook portraits}

A couple weeks ago, Sara's mom called to see if I still had any openings for senior portraits.  My schedule has been pretty filled up but we worked out a date and I am sooo glad we did.  Sara was a lot of fun to work with and so at ease in front of the camera.  She brought along her iPod with Adele's music loaded up and a lot of great outfits.  Here's a look at just a few of my favorites from her senior portrait session:

And my absolute fave is getting printed up for the studio.  I just LOVE how beautifully her clothing works with the autumn colors.

Senior Pictures with Brittany {Cicero, NY Yearbook Portraits}

Last week I had the pleasure of working with Brittany, a local high school senior.  Before her session, her orthodontist offered to take her braces off which I thought was pretty awesome.  Her teeth look terrific! 

Her session included both outside and in studio.  With the number of outfits she brought we had a lot of variety which was great!  And she got her session completed just before the last of the leaves fell off the trees out back.  Phew - that was a close one!

Senior Style Blog Featured Photographer {Cicero, NY High School Pictures}

Senior portraits with Marisa {Cicero, NY Portrait Photographer}

Marisa came out a few weeks ago for her senior portrait session.  We had a fun time together - listening to music, talking about where she works and what she hopes to do once school is done.

Her high school recently switched from allowing any type of image in the senior yearbook to the more traditional studio portrait.  So we played with a couple different backdrop colors and a couple different outfits and ultimately decided on the traditional school blue backdrop with a black top she had brought.

We also did quite a bit of outdoor portraits for the more casual looks her mom had requested.  The barn and split rail fence were especially nice for different posing options.


Thanks again for coming out, Marisa.  It was great getting to know you and I wish you all the best this year.  Enjoy it!!

Shoots For a Cure {Syracuse portrait photographer, Kim Hill}

I am pleased to announce that I have partnered with Shoots For a Cure.  This charitable organization is helping cancer survivors and their supporters to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Any individual that has been diagnosed with cancer or completed treatment within the past 12 months qualifies for a Shoots for a Cure Session. Sessions are available to document the fight before or during treatment or to celebrate the victory when treatment is completed.
Clients will receive a complimentary session, set of ten 4x6 prints, and a 10% discount off additional print orders.

Senior Pictures with Emily {Syracuse, NY Photographer}

Meet Emily!  She's a beautiful high school senior who surprised me when she pulled out her acoustic guitar and her lacrosse gear.  I always ask the seniors to bring along these types of things that we can use as props as it really helps to tell the story of their senior year in high school.  Emily was the first teen to actually follow my suggestion and I can't tell you how excited I was to be able to take some lacrosse pictures and some musical photos of her.  :)
