I got tagged by Susan White of FxFoto for the Be Original Blog Project. I was surprised that anyone would think of me as having something "original" to offer in the blogging world since I certainly don't think of my blogging in that way.
So here's the scoop. It all started with a 'Be Original" post on Mohit Singhania's blog. I've lifted this off Susan's blog who lifted it from Michelle's blog who lifted it off Angie Pedersen's blog - ha ha ha - isn't that ironic in that it is so NOT original to lift stuff from others. LOL Anyway, here's the deal from Mohit’s original post about how it works:
In a new blog post, list and write about 5 to 10 methods you use to create original posts. At the start of your post, tell your audience (briefly or at length) what you are doing with the “Be Original” Project and link to the project. Link/trackback to the blogger who tagged you for “Be Original” Share your “Be Original” methods with your own audience Pick as many bloggers as you want and “tag” them to take part in the fun…After all, that is how a meme works (a unit of cultural information transferable from one mind to another). Sit back and learn from the discussion.
How Do I Come Up with Original Blog Post Ideas?
1. Continue talking about an ongoing event in my life.
2. Offer recipes for home beauty treatments or yummy eats.
3. Talk about my kids.
4. Talk about my business.
5. Talk about everyday life.
Now it's YOUR turn to join in the Be Original Project. I'm tagging the following people: Sue Jones, Heather Ann Melzer, Carrie Stephens, Gina Miller, Kim (aka OliveJuice), Martha (aka Krash), and Nancy Comelab.
Okay, so what's up with me today? Glad you asked. NADA! LOL It is pouring rain outside so I think we'll get out the giant Neat Sheet and do some painting and maybe playdoh or some other messy art project. The boys are not super into artsy crafty things, but if it involves being messy, then they are more likely to participate and enjoy themselves. They love to use glue, so maybe we'll make some macaroni art instead. Yeah, I think they'll like that! We can even paint the roni when we're done. Yep - that's the ticket! :)
In scrapping news, I'm working on a new kit. I haven't actually started on it yet....just putting my ideas together and scribbling little notes on what I want to make. All these ideas started popping into my head last night just as American Idol came on and I knew that if I didn't write them down I would simply forget. And it's a good thing I did that too because I put Christopher to bed a few minutes later and fell asleep with him. Totally missed the results of AI. But I heard Haley got the boot. No surprise there. Though I really wish Sanjaya was gone......but I guess he did better this week than he has done in the past. That darn pre-teen crowd who loves him is probably the only reason he is still here. Gotta love those teeny-bopper hormones. LOL
Alrighty, so that's it for me today. Hope you have a great Thursday!

You have Nada there? I thought I left her in bed beside Daddy. lol
Send that rain over this way dear. Then you can have a great day and we can green the grass again.
